Ni(II) bis chelates of dialkyldithio-phosphate, S-methylhydrazine carbodithioate shiff bases, and butyl xanthate react with a number of 5-phenylazo-8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives in 1:1 molar ratio to give the corresponding mixed ligand complexes.The complexes have been characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR and electronic spectra, and magnetic measurements.Octahedral structure has been assigned to the prepared complexes.
