Uses
Used in Oncology:
Ethanone, 1-[4-amino-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-methyl-5-pyrimidinyl]is used as an anti-tumor agent for the treatment of solid tumors. Its application is based on its ability to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, leading to the destruction of the tumor. Tigilanol tiglate has shown particular promise in the treatment of advanced cutaneous mast cell tumors in dogs, with its potential extending to other types of solid tumors.
Used in Veterinary Medicine:
In the veterinary field, Ethanone, 1-[4-amino-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-methyl-5-pyrimidinyl]is used as a targeted therapy for advanced cutaneous mast cell tumors in dogs. Its application in this industry is due to its ability to selectively target and induce apoptosis in cancer cells, providing a potential treatment option for dogs suffering from this condition.
Used in Pharmaceutical Research and Development:
Ethanone, 1-[4-amino-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-6-methyl-5-pyrimidinyl]is utilized in pharmaceutical research and development as a potential candidate for the treatment of various types of cancer. Its application in this industry is driven by its demonstrated anti-tumor activity and the promising results from preclinical and clinical trials, making it a valuable asset in the development of targeted cancer therapies.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 130102-91-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,0,1,0 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 130102-91:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*0)+(5*1)+(4*0)+(3*2)+(2*9)+(1*1)=59
59 % 10 = 9
So 130102-91-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A method for the synthesis of methyl and ethyl 2-R1-4-R 2-5-oxo-5,8-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine-7-carboxylates was proposed. The method is based on condensation of 2-R1-6-R 2-5-acetyl-4-aminopyrimidines with ethyl oxalate in the presence of MeONa or EtONa. Products of the Friedlaender self-condensation of the starting pyrimidines were also obtained.
