A repeat study of the molecules of lead difluoride, tin and lead dibromides and di-iodides, and gallium, indium, and thallium oxides of the type M2O has been carried out using generally accepted and specially developed methods of structural analysis. The parameters of the angular effective and equilibrium geometric configurations and the potential energy functions in the harmonic approximation have been determined for all the molecules studied. The calculated sets of vibrational frequencies have been compared with available spectral data.
