The reactions of the S-cis-oriented nitrogen derivatives of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with two-centered CH acids leads to the formation of a cycloalkane ring. 2-Amino-3--1,5,5-tricyano-cyclopentenes are formed in the reaction of the s-trans-oriented hydrazones of α,β-unsaturated ketones with 1,1,2,2-tetracyanoethane. It was found that crotonaldehyde dimethylhydrazone exists in the s-cis form.
