The catalytic hydroboration of tert-butylethene using H 3B·NMe3 gives RH2B·NMe 3. With H3B·NMe2H tandem hydroboration under mild conditions/dehydrocoupling occurs that produces R 2BNMe2 (R = H, CH2CH2 tBu). The Royal Society of Chemistry 2011.
