PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide processes for producing a halogenofluorinated cycloalkane and a hydrofluorinated cycloalkane. SOLUTION: A treatment of a fluorinated cycloalkene with a halogenating agent having n-Y bonds (Y is a chlorine atom or a bromine atom) in the presence of an alkaline metal fluoride can convert the fluorinated cycloalkene to a gem-halogenofluorinated cycloalkane.
