Subclass

Flavonoid Glycoside
A flavonoid molecule linked to a sugar molecule, contributing to its biological activity and solubility.
3. Complex Structure
The compound has a dibenzo[c,h]chromen backbone with a 6-deoxy-alpha-L-mannopyranoside moiety attached at the 12th position, indicating a complex and specific arrangement of atoms.
4. Dibenzo[c,h]chromen Backbone
A core structure of the compound, consisting of two benzene rings fused together, which contributes to its stability and chemical properties.
5. 6-Deoxy-alpha-L-mannopyranoside Moiety
A sugar molecule attached to the 12th position of the dibenzo[c,h]chromen backbone, influencing the compound's solubility, bioavailability, and interactions with other molecules.
6. Hydroxyl Group (1-hydroxy)
An -OH functional group present in the molecule, which contributes to its polarity and may be involved in hydrogen bonding and other interactions.
7. Methoxy Group (10-methoxy)
An -OCH3 functional group present in the molecule, which influences its lipophilicity, stability, and potential biological activities.
8. Methyl Group (8-methyl)
A -CH3 functional group present in the molecule, adding to its structural complexity and potentially affecting its interactions with other molecules.
9. 6-Oxo
A carbonyl group (C=O) present in the molecule, which may contribute to its reactivity and potential biological activities.
10. Antioxidant Properties
Flavonoids, including 1-hydroxy-10-methoxy-8-methyl-6-oxo-6H-dibenzo[c,h]chromen-12-yl 6-deoxy-alpha-L-mannopyranoside, are known for their ability to neutralize free radicals and protect cells from oxidative damage.
11. Potential Health Benefits
Due to its flavonoid nature, this compound may have health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and cardiovascular protective effects, although further research is needed to confirm these properties.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 132417-96-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,2,4,1 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 132417-96:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*2)+(5*4)+(4*1)+(3*7)+(2*9)+(1*6)=110
110 % 10 = 0
So 132417-96-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Total syntheses of Be-12406 a and its C(8)-Vinyl analog

Hosoya, Takamitsu,Takashiro, Eiji,Yamamoto, Yasuko,Matsumoto, Takashi,Suzuki, Keisuke

, p. 397 - 414 (2007/10/02)

Total syntheses of BE-12406 A (3a) and its C(8)-vinyl analog (3c) are described. The key step is the selective O-glycosylation of naphthol (4)with L-rhamnopyranosyl fluoride (5) by employing Cp2HfCl2-AgClO4 in fluorobenzene at -20°C in the presence of a hindered base, 2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylpyridine (12), affording O-glycoside (11) in good yield.
