2,5-Cyclohexadien-1-one, 4-[[4-(phenylamino)phenyl]imino]-, reaction products with sodium sulfide (Na2(Sx)) is a navy blue powder that is insoluble in water and moderately soluble in sodium sulfide solution. It exhibits color changes in different chemical environments, turning green-yellow in sodium sulfide solution, green light blue in concentrated sulfuric acid, and dark after dilution and precipitation. In alkaline insurance powder, it shows green light yellow color, which can be restored to its original color and lustre after oxidation. However, it fades in sodium hypochlorite solution and turns black when concentrated sulfuric acid is added.

Preparation
4-(4-(Phenylamino)phenylimino)cyclohexa-2,5-dienone with Sodium polysulfide solution at 122 ~ 124 ℃ heating 36 hours, after diluted with air precipitation (BIOS 1155, – 22).
