133089-16-4 Usage

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 133089-16-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,3,0,8 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 133089-16:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*3)+(5*0)+(4*8)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*6)=114
114 % 10 = 4
So 133089-16-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Lysine 2,3-Aminomutase: Role of S-Adenosyl-L-methionine in the Mechanism. Demonstration of Tritium Transfer from (2RS,3RS)-Lysine to S-Adenosyl-L-methionine

Kilgore, James L.,Aberhart, D. John

, p. 79 - 84 (2007/10/02)

(2RS,3RS)-Lysine has been synthesized, and incubated with lysine 2,3-aminomutase in the presence of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM).After incubation, the SAM was converted, by heating, into methylthioadenosine (MTA).The latter contained ca. 1-6percent of the incubated tritium, consistent with an exchange of SAM hydrogens (probably at C-5') with the 3-pro-R hydrogen of lysine. The results support a mechanism for lysine 2,3-aminomutase in which SAM acts as hydrogen carrier.
