Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 134067-39-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,4,0,6 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 134067-39:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*4)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*7)+(2*3)+(1*9)=113
113 % 10 = 3
So 134067-39-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Chelation of Group 6 metal tetracarbonyl fragments by dicobalt thioalkyne complexes

Gelling, Andrew,Went, Michael J.,Povey, David C.

, p. 203 - 210 (2007/10/02)

Reactions of CCH2SR)(μ-dppm)(CO)4> (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) with (nbd = norbornadiene) afford (μ-dppm)(CO)4> (M = Mo, W; R = Me, Et, nBu, tBu, Bz and M = Cr; R = Me, Et).The molecular structure of (μ-dppm)(CO)4> has been established by X-ray diffraction, and comprises a Co2(μ-dppm)(CO)4 unit transversely bridged by 2,7-dithio-4-octyne co-ordinated through the thioether sulphur atoms to a molybdenum tetracarbonyl moiety. The chelation of CCH2SMe)(μ-dppm)(CO)4> to the molybdenum centre produces a seven-membered ring which adopts a chair conformation, and the thiomethyl groups adopt a cis configuration with respect to the plane defined by the molybdenum and the two sulphur atoms. The mass spectra and NMR spectra of the new compounds are reported. The compounds display dynamic NMR behaviour which can be interpreted in terms of alkyne rocking and sulphur inversion.

Formation of Novel Bidentate and Crown Thioether Ligands via Dicobalt Alkyne Complexes

Gelling, Andrew,Jeffery, John C.,Povey, David C.,Went, Michael J.

, p. 349 - 351 (2007/10/02)

Open chain and cyclic thioalkyne complexes capable of ligating metal-carbonyl moieties are prepared by the reaction of CCH2OH)(CO)6> with mono- and di-thiols in the presence of HBF4 and the structures of Mo(CO)4> and (CO)6> have been established by X-ray crystallography; dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane.
