General Description
(D-HIS(BZL)6,PRO-NHET9)-LHRH (2-9) is a synthetic peptide hormone that mimics the activity of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH). It is a modified form of LHRH that has been altered to enhance its stability and potency. The peptide contains a D-HIS(BZL)6 residue, which is a modified form of the amino acid histidine, as well as a PRO-NHET9 residue, which is a modified form of the amino acid proline. These modifications help to improve the peptide's binding affinity and biological activity. (D-HIS(BZL)6,PRO-NHET9)-LHRH (2-9) has been studied for its potential use in the treatment of hormone-dependent conditions such as prostate cancer and breast cancer.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 134190-11-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,4,1,9 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 134190-11:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*4)+(5*1)+(4*9)+(3*0)+(2*1)+(1*1)=97
97 % 10 = 7
So 134190-11-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Characterization of the solution degradation products of histrelin, a gonadotropin releasing hormone (LH/RH) agonist
Oyler,Naldi,Lloyd,Graden,Shaw,Cotter
, p. 271 - 275 (2007/10/02)
The degradation products of histrelin (1, Glu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-(D-N(im)-bzl-His)-Leu-Arg-Pro-NHEt) were determined in aqueous solution at pH 5.4 and 87°C over an 18-day period (47% degradation). These degradation products (2-5) resulted from the cleavage of Glu-His and Trp-Ser peptide bonds, His-Trp diketopiperazine formation, and racemization of serine and histidine residues.
