Some N-(2-benzofuranylmethyl)-N,N-dimethyl-N-aryloxyalkylammonium bromides (IV) have been prepared and tested for their antibacterial, antifungal, antiprotozoal and anthelmintic activities.Some of the compounds exhibit moderate antibacterial activity in vitro against Streptococcus faecalis and staphylococcus aureus.
