Investigation of the tautomerism of arsinic amides showed that the displacement of the equilibrium toward the amide or the imide form depends on the electron-acceptor properties of the substitutents on the nitrogen atom.According to x-ray structure analysis, molecules of N-(p-chlorophenyl)-As,As-diphenylarsinic amide have the amide structure, and in the crystal they linked to one another through hydrogen bonds.
