Riociguat is a soluble guanylate cyclase stimulator that helps improve blood flow and reduce the pressure in the pulmonary arteries. Methyl-dihydropurinone, as an impurity, may affect the efficacy and safety of Riociguat, and its presence is closely monitored during the manufacturing process.
