Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1365530-40-0 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,3,6,5,5,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1365530-40:
(9*1)+(8*3)+(7*6)+(6*5)+(5*5)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*0)=150
150 % 10 = 0
So 1365530-40-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

METHOD AND ARRAY FOR IDENTIFYING HISTONE-CODE-RELATED ANALYTES

-

Page/Page column 41, (2013/07/05)

Disclosed embodiments concern an array for use in identifying or identifying and quantifying analytes in a sample using a macrocyclic sensor comprising a macrocyclic compound and a detectable moiety. The disclosed array may be used to discriminate among various analytes based on different features, such as post- translational modifications, isomeric post-translational modifications, and the peptide sequence around post-translational modifications. Also disclosed is a method for identifying analytes comprising a post-translational modification, as well as an enzymatic assay using the disclosed macrocyclic sensor.

Synthesis of new trisulfonated calix[4]arenes functionalized at the upper rim, and their complexation with the trimethyllysine epigenetic mark

Daze, Kevin D.,Ma, Manuel C. F.,Pineux, Florent,Hof, Fraser

, p. 1512 - 1515 (2012/06/15)

A synthetic route to produce a new family of trisulfonated calix[4]arenes bearing a single group, selectively introduced, that lines the binding pocket is reported. Ten examples, including new sulfonamide and biphenyl-substituted hosts, each with additional binding elements, demonstrate the tuning of guest affinities and selectivities. NMR titrations in phosphate-buffered water show that one of the new hosts binds to the modified amino acid trimethyllysine with the highest affinity and selectivity observed to date.
