Use of a halogen substituent reagent is avoided, the synthetic route is novel and reasonable, the target yield reaches up to 95%, and the production cost is low, so that industrial production is facilitated; the synthetic route of the monomer also plays a good reference function in the processes of synthesizing other biphenyl compounds.

A variety of fluorinated biphenyl derivatives were obtained in good yields in aqueous solvents at room temperature by Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl bromides and aryl boronic acid in the presence of high activity catalyst - some air-stable hemilabile PO
