The invention relates to new 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives of the general formula I STR1 in which R1, R2, R3 and n have the meaning stated in the patent claims. The compounds of the invention have a vasodilatory effect and are therefore suitable for the treatment of hypertension. Some of the compounds have a vasoconstrictory effect and can therefore be used for the treatment of hypotension.
