Synthesis and reactions of N-phenyl-bis(diethyl-phosphonate)ketenimine

N-Phenyl-bis(diethylphosphonato)-ketenimine (8) has been prepared. Compound 8 undergoes several addition reactions, especially it is suitable for the synthesis of polycyclic products by subsequent Michael additions followed by intramolecular Horner reaction.
