Chromyl chloride forms complexes with N,N'-diarylformamidino-N"-(substituted) carbamides and thiocarbamides having the formulae CrO2Cl2ArNH-C(NH)NHC(=X)NHR and CrO2Cl2RNHC(=X)NHC (N.Ph.) NHPh .The complexes have been characterised on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, IR, UV-Vis and 1H NMR spectral studies.The dielectric constants (ε') and electrical conductivity of the complexes have been studied at different temperature and frequencies.
