137350-66-4 Usage
Description
ThioGlo1 is a thiol-reactive fluorescent probe. Upon reaction with a thiol group, a fluorescent adduct is formed that displays excitation/emission maxima of 384/513 nm, respectively. It also reacts with sulfite to form a fluorescent adduct with similar spectral characteristics, and interference from sulfite during thiol determination must be accounted for using secondary methods. ThioGlo1 has been used to monitor the oxidative stability of beer. It has been used to monitor the oxidative stability of beer.
Uses
ThioGlo1 is thiol-reactive dye used for fluorescence labeling of proteomic samples.
Application
Methyl 10-(2,5-dioxo-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrol-1-yl)-9-methoxy-3-oxo-3H-benzo[f]chromene-2-carboxylate can be used as intermediate in organic synthesis It is mainly used in laboratory research and development process and chemical production process.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 137350-66-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,7,3,5 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 137350-66:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*7)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*0)+(2*6)+(1*6)=124
124 % 10 = 4
So 137350-66-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

N-(2-Carbomethoxy-9-methoxy-3-oxo-3H-naphthopyran-10-yl)maleimide 2 was designed and synthesized as a new maleimide fluorescent thiol reagent. The optical properties of 2 were investigated with an without the addition of glutathione, GSH.We have found 2 is twice as sensitive as DACM and is of comparable sensitivity to CPM for detection of thiols. The emission maximum for the GSH adduct of 2 is 513 nm which is at longer wavelength than the GSH adducts of both DACM and CPM.
