Sulfarlem is a sulfured heterocyclic compound which exhibits antioxidant properties.The quantitative study of the monoelectronic exchanges involved in this action has been performed by gamma radiolysis in ethanolic solution.The obtained results indicate that Sulfarlem seems not to be reactive towards peroxyl radicals and superoxide anions.In return it is an efficient scavanger of non oxygenated radicals R..
