Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 13762-14-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,3,7,6 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 13762-14:
(7*1)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*6)+(3*2)+(2*1)+(1*4)=96
96 % 10 = 6
So 13762-14-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Crystal structure of COBALT MOLYBDATE (cas 13762-14-6) hydrate CoMoO4·nH2O09/29/2019

We have determined the crystal structure of the title compound, which has a triclinic cell with cell parameters of a=6.844Å, b=6.933Å, c=9.339Å, α=76.617°, β=84.188°, γ=74.510° and space group P1¯. The crystal structure suggests the chemical formula CoMoO 4 ·3/4H 2 O. The...detailed

Activated carbon‐supported COBALT MOLYBDATE (cas 13762-14-6) as a heterogeneous catalyst to activate peroxymonosulfate for removal of organic dyes09/28/2019

Activated carbon‐supported cobalt molybdate (CoMoO4/AC) composite was conveniently fabricated using a simple hydrothermal route and high‐temperature calcination, aiming to create a novel heterogeneous catalyst for activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) to degrade organic dyes. The CoMoO4/AC cat...detailed

COBALT MOLYBDATE (cas 13762-14-6) nanoflake-assembling porous pillar array for high performance pseudocapacitor09/26/2019

CoMoO4 nanoflake-assembling porous pillar array is synthesized on Ni foam by a facile hydrothermal method. XRD, SEM and TEM demonstrate that CoMoO4 nanoflakes like flower petals cross and stack to form the porous pillar. As electrode materials of supercapacitors, CoMoO4 nanoflake-assembling poro...detailed

Structural properties of tungsten-doped COBALT MOLYBDATE (cas 13762-14-6) and its application in electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction09/25/2019

New tungsten-doped CoMoO4 (W-CoMoO4) was successfully synthesized by a simple co-precipitation method and investigated for a possible application in oxygen evolution reaction (OER). The effect of W6+ doping on structure, morphology, and chemical compositions was investigated by X-ray diffraction...detailed

Dependence of magnetic properties on structure in the systems NiMoO4 and CoMoO4

Sieber,Kershaw,Dwight,Wold

, p. 2667 - 2669 (2008/10/08)

The defect rock-salt phases of NiMoO4 and CoMoO4 were prepared, and their magnetic susceptibilities were measured. The μeff values for nickel and cobalt were consistent with Ni(II) (3d8) and high-spin Co(II) (3d7), and the θ values were 20 and 12 K, respectively. When NiMoO4 or CoMoO4 was pressed at 50 kbar, the resulting product cyrstallized with the wolframite structure. The θ values for the high-pressure phases of nickel and cobalt molybdate were -102 and -105 K, respectively. The difference in the magnetic properties between the high- and low-pressure polymorphs was found to be consistent with the results of an analysis of the magnetic interaction paths in the defect rock-salt structure relative to the wolframite structure.
