1,2-Dichloro-2-(organylthio)ethenetetrachlorophosphoranes, formed in the reaction of organylthiochloroacetylenes with phosphorus pentachloride, irrespective of molar ratios of the reagents, are not ionized by PCl5, but with antimony pentachloride give organyltrichlorophosphonium hexachloroantimonates.The chemical transformations of the synthesized 1,2-dichloro-2(organylthio)ethenetetrachlorophosphoranes were studied, and the products of these reactions were isolated and characterized.
