Usage

General Description

Lepirudin is a recombinant form of hirudin, a naturally occurring anticoagulant. It is used to prevent and treat blood clots in patients with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), a condition where the body develops an immune response to heparin, a commonly used anticoagulant.
