Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 138196-35-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,8,1,9 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 138196-35:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*8)+(5*1)+(4*9)+(3*6)+(2*3)+(1*5)=147
147 % 10 = 7
So 138196-35-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Thermal behaviour of 1,1-dimethyl-6--4-(pentamethyldisilanyl)silepin
Sakamoto, Hiromu,Ishikawa, Mitsuo
, p. 305 - 309 (2007/10/02)
Thermolysis of 1,1-dimethyl-6--4-(pentamethyldisilanyl)silepin in a degassed sealed tube at 250 deg C for 10 h gave 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl-6-(pentamethyldisilanyl)-1-silaindane and 4-(isobutyldimethylsilyl)-1-(pentamethyldisilanyl)-5-(trimethylsilyl)benzene. 3(Isobutyldimethylsilyl)-1-(pentamethyldisilanyl)-4-(trimethylsilyl)benzene was isolated from the mixture after thermolysis of 1,1-dimethyl-6--3-(pentamethyldisilanyl)silepin.
