Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 138544-91-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,8,5,4 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 138544-91:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*8)+(5*5)+(4*4)+(3*4)+(2*9)+(1*1)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 138544-91-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 383 - 386 (2007/10/03)
Two alkaloids, canthin-6-one 9-O-β-glucopyranoside and 7-hydroxy-β-carboline 1-propionic acid, were isolated from the roots of Eurycoma harmandiana, together with the five known canthin-6-one alkaloids, 9-hydroxycanthin-6-one, 9-methoxycanthin-6-one, 9.10-dimethoxycanthin-6-one, canthin-6-one and canthin-6-one N-oxide, and the two known β-carboline alkaloids, β-carboline 1-propionic acid and 7-methoxy-β-carboline 1-propionic acid. Their structures were based on analyses of spectroscopic data.
