Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1399545-03-9 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,3,9,9,5,4 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1399545-03:
(9*1)+(8*3)+(7*9)+(6*9)+(5*5)+(4*4)+(3*5)+(2*0)+(1*3)=209
209 % 10 = 9
So 1399545-03-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Indium triflate catalyzed one-pot multicomponent synthesis of spiro-hexahydropyrimidines explained by multiple covalent bond formation

Dandia, Anshu,Jain, Anuj K.,Sharma, Sonam

, p. 5270 - 5274 (2012)

A mild, efficient, and expeditious method has been developed for the synthesis of spiro-hexahydropyrimidine derivatives via a three-component, one-pot cyclocondensation reaction of aromatic amines, formaldehyde, and cyclic ketones in 4-6 h using In(OTf)3 as Lewis acid catalyst for the first time. The reaction involving creation of six new covalent bonds was efficiently promoted by 10 mol % In(OTf)3 and the catalyst could be recovered easily after the reaction and reused without any loss of its catalytic activity. The advantageous features of this methodology are high atom-economy, operational simplicity, shorter reaction time, and easy handling.

CuFe2O4 nanoparticles as a highly efficient and magnetically recoverable catalyst for the synthesis of medicinally privileged spiropyrimidine scaffolds

Dandia, Anshu,Jain, Anuj K.,Sharma, Sonam

, p. 2924 - 2934 (2013/05/08)

A highly efficient and green protocol for the synthesis of medicinally important fluorinated spiropyrimidine derivatives involving creation of six new covalent bonds has been developed using a magnetically separable and reusable heterogeneous copper ferri
