Among them, N-[4-[2-(dimethylamino)ethoxy]benzyl]-3,4-dimethoxybenzamide (II-34) which exhibited well balanced gastrointestinal prokinetic and antiemetic activities was selected as a new type of gastrointestinal prokinetic agent.
