The invention relates to alicyclic diisocyanate as well as a preparation method and application thereof. According to the alicyclic diisocyanate shown in the formula (1), the alicyclic diisocyanate has a six-membered naphthenic structure, has the rigidity of aromatic and the yellowing resistance and high transparency of aliphatic, and is relatively high in reaction speed when being used for preparing a polyurethane material; and the prepared polyurethane material has relatively high yellowing resistance, relatively high hardness and relatively high transparency.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing an aliphatic diisocyanate by pyrolyzing an aliphatic dicarbamate in liquid phase, using a tin (II) or (IV) compound as a catalyst and a zwitterionic compound as a stabilizer, thereby remarkably inhibiting high-boiling by-products and providing the aliphatic diisocyanate with high yield.
