Pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines, pyrazolo[5,1-c]triazines, [1,2,4]triazolo [4,3-a]pyrimidine, [1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-c][1,2,4]triazine, pyrazolo[3,4-d] pyridazines, and isoxazolo[3,4-d]pyridazines were prypared from 3-(3-(dimethylamino)acryloyl)-1-aryl-5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carbonitrile with each of hydrazonoyl halides, hydroximoyl chlorides, heterocyclic amines, and diazotized heterocyclic amines. All the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analyses, spectral data, and alternative synthetic routes whenever possible.
