Disodium methylarsonate, also known as DSMA, is a white solid chemical compound with the chemical formula (CH3)2AsOONa. It is an organoarsenic compound that has been historically used in various applications due to its properties.

Uses

Used in Agricultural Industry:
Disodium methylarsonate is used as a herbicide for controlling post-emergent grass weeds, such as crabgrass, in common grass lawns and established turf. It is also utilized for general non-crop weed control in cotton. However, it is important to note that DSMA is not actively registered for use in the U.S. or EU countries.
