PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic compound that allows red emission with high color purity in a long wavelength region by a basic skeleton itself. SOLUTION: The present invention provides an organic compound illustrated by general formula [1]. In general formula [1], R1 to R22 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a substituent. At least two of R12 to R14 bind to each other to form a ring structure.
