Alkylation of the sodium salts of the allyloximes of 2-butyryldimedone and 2-butyryl-4-methoxycarbonyldimedone gave the enol methyl ethers.The latter were converted by the action of a 3-5-fold excess of ammonia or primary or secondary amine into the corresponding enaminoimino derivatives.
