A post-Ugi late-transition-metal-catalyzed intramolecular hydroarylation approach opens a new gateway for the synthesis of diversely substituted pyrrolopyridinones, pyrroloazepinones thiophenoazepinones, azepinoindoles, and azepinobenzothiophenes applying mild reaction conditions.
