The invention discloses a polymerizable monomeric compound. The polymerizable monomeric compound is as shown in a formula (I). In addition, the invention also discloses a preparation method of the polymerizable monomeric compound. The polymerizable monomeric compound can be matched with a common polymerizable monomeric composition, and a phase difference membrane having good optical delayability can be obtained, and meanwhile, high temperature-resistant treatment capacity of the phase difference membrane can be improved. The phase difference membrane is preferably used for manufacturing quarter-wavelength plates of green light and blue light. In addition, the preparation method is simple and convenient, and the synthetic yield and the purity are higher.
