150314-35-5 Usage

Description

Adrenoyl-ethanolamine, also known as (7Z,10Z,13Z,16Z)-N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-7,10,13,16-docosatetraenamide, is an endocannabinoid and an analog of anandamide, which is an endogenous cannabinoid and TRPV1 receptor agonist. It contains docosatetraenoic acid in place of the arachidonate moiety of AEA. Adrenoyl-ethanolamine acts on CB1 receptors with potency and efficacy similar to that of AEA. However, its specific role and relative importance as a cannabinergic neurotransmitter have not been fully understood.

Uses

Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
Adrenoyl-ethanolamine is used as a cannabinergic agent for its ability to act on CB1 receptors, similar to AEA. Its potential applications may include the development of new therapeutic strategies for various conditions that can be influenced by the endocannabinoid system.
Used in Research and Development:
Adrenoyl-ethanolamine is used as a research compound for studying the endocannabinoid system and its role in various physiological processes. This can help in understanding the potential therapeutic applications of targeting this system in the treatment of various diseases and conditions.
Used in Drug Delivery Systems:
Similar to gallotannin, novel drug delivery systems could be developed to enhance the applications and efficacy of Adrenoyl-ethanolamine against specific conditions. Various organic and metallic nanoparticles could be employed as carriers for Adrenoyl-ethanolamine delivery, aiming to improve its delivery, bioavailability, and therapeutic outcomes.

Biological Activity

Potent endocannabinoid ( anandamide analog) that activates CB 1 receptors in microglia and binds to rat synaptosomal membranes (K I = 34.4 nM). Cannabimimetic in vivo .

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 150314-35-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,0,3,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 150314-35:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*3)+(1*5)=85
85 % 10 = 5
So 150314-35-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
