ETHYL-L-NIO (HYDROCHLORIDE) is a moderately selective inhibitor of Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS) enzymes, with the Ki values for inhibition of neuronal NOS (nNOS), endothelial NOS (eNOS), and inducible NOS (iNOS) being 5.3, 18, and 12 μM, respectively. When considering the Ki/Km ratio, it does not show significant selectivity for nNOS over eNOS but instead favors iNOS. It is the saturated analog of vinyl-L-NIO and does not inactivate nNOS in the presence of NADPH and O2.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 150403-97-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,0,4,0 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 150403-97:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*0)+(5*4)+(4*0)+(3*3)+(2*9)+(1*7)=97
97 % 10 = 7
So 150403-97-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
