Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 151237-04-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,1,2,3 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 151237-04:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*1)+(5*2)+(4*3)+(3*7)+(2*0)+(1*4)=96
96 % 10 = 6
So 151237-04-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

High Hole Mobility and Efficient Ambipolar Charge Transport in Heterocoronene-Based Ordered Columnar Discotics

De, Joydip,Bala, Indu,Gupta, Santosh Prasad,Pandey, Upendra Kumar,Pal, Santanu Kumar

, p. 18799 - 18805 (2019)

Heterocoronene, a new redox-active core fragment, is utilized for the synthesis of room-temperature columnar discotic liquid crystals (DLCs). Three wedge-shaped side chains having different lengths of alkyl tails are introduced at the periphery of the het

Inorganic red-NIR emissive materials are particularly relevant in many fields like optoelectronic, bioimaging or solar cells. Benefiting from their emission in devices implies their integration in easy-to-handle materials like liquid crystals, whose long-

Bent-core luminescent and electroactive bis(triazolyl)triazines with compact columnar mesomorphism

Beltran, Eduardo,Robles-Hernandez, Beatriz,Sebastian, Nerea,Serrano, Jose Luis,Gimenez, Raquel,Sierra, Teresa

, p. 23554 - 23561 (2014/07/07)

The bulk self-assembly of bent-core molecules based on the novel structure 2-methoxy-4,6-bis(1′,2′,3′-triazol-4′-yl)-1,3, 5-triazine is reported together with their luminescent and electrochemical properties. Two families of compounds with lateral branches of different lengths have been investigated. Columnar mesomorphism with short stacking distances and periodic twisted structures were found. A compound exhibiting two hexagonal columnar mesophases that show different emission spectra and a transition from a bimolecular assembly to a unimolecular assembly is described.

Coexistence of helical morphologies in columnar stacks of star-shaped discotic hydrazones

supporting information, p. 11075 - 11086 (2013/08/23)

Discotic hydrazone molecules are of particular interest as they form discotic phases where the discs are rigidified by intramolecular hydrogen bonds. Here, we investigate the thermotropic behavior and solid-state organizations of three discotic hydrazone

Liquid crystalline bis(N-salicylideneaniline)s: Synthesis and thermal behavior of constitutional isomers

Hiremath, Uma S.

, p. 3419 - 3423 (2013/07/04)

The first examples of mesogenic bis(N-salicylideneaniline)s (BSANs), wherein two lipophilic (half-disk shaped) entities are interlinked through the dihydroxydiformylbenzene core, were synthesized and characterized. In particular, three constitutional (positional) isomeric BSANs were prepared by the facile twofold condensation of 3,4,5-tris(alkoxy)anilines with 2,3-dihydroxyterephthalaldehyde, 4,6-dihydroxyisophthalaldehyde, and 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalaldehyde and their structures were established by elemental analyses, FT-IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR. Proton NMR experiments demonstrated their existence in enol-imine (OH) form solely. Polarizing optical microscopic, differential scanning calorimetric, and powder X-ray diffraction studies evidenced the occurrence of columnar mesomorphism in two sets of isomers.

Effects of isocyanide substituents on the mesogenic properties of halogeno(isocyanide)gold complexes: Calamitic and discotic liquid crystals

Coco, Silverio,Espinet, Pablo,Marti-Alvarez, Jose M.,Levelut, Anne-Marie

, p. 19 - 23 (2007/10/03)

The liquid crystal behaviour of linear [AuX(CNC6H4OCnH2n+1)] (X = halogen) complexes is tuned by systematically changing the structure of the isocyanide ligand. The changes studied are lateral fluorination at the 2- and 3-positions of the phenyl ring and modification of the rod-like structure of the complexes by addition of two alkoxy chains at the meta positions. None of the free isocyanides used here are liquid crystals, but all the gold complexes prepared display mesomorphic properties, except iodo(2-fluoro-4-butoxyphenyl isocyanide)gold(I). The (2- and (3-fluorophenyl isocyanide)gold(I) complexes show smectic A mesophases, except the 2-fluoro derivative with n = 6, which shows a nematic phase, while the (3,4,5-trialkoxyphenyl isocyanide)gold compounds display columnar hexagonal phases at room temperature.
