Naked-eye detection of inorganic fluoride in aqueous media using a new azo-azomethine colorimetric receptor enhanced by electron withdrawing groups
Khanmohammadi, Hamid,Rezaeian, Khatereh
, p. 1032 - 1038 (2014)
A new azo-azomethine receptor, containing active phenolic sites, has been designed and synthesized for quantitative detection and colorimetric sensing of inorganic fluoride ion in aqueous media. The introduction of four electron withdrawing groups into th

A series of twenty S-benzyl ortho-aminothiophenol and S,S-xylylene-bridged bis(ortho-aminothiophenol) compounds and their imine derivatives have been synthesized in moderate to excellent yields and characterized. The syntheses were optimized, including large-scale syntheses, and an improved purification method involving the HCl salt was developed. This paper also serves as a comprehensive review of xylylene-bridged bis(ortho-aminothiophenol) compounds. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart New York.
Synthesis and characterization of novel phthalocyanines with four 16-membered diazadithia macrocycles
Yilmaz, Iismail,Bekarogiu, Oezer
, p. 967 - 971 (2007/10/03)
Metal phthalocyanines (M = Cu, Ni, Co) 3-5 bearing four lo-membered diazadithia macrocycles at the peripheral positions were prepared. Detosylation with concentrated sulfuric acid afforded products containing both sulfonated groups on the aromatic rings o
