chemical properties
Sodium antimonate [15593-75-6], Na2OSb2O5.1/2H2O, is a free-flowing white powder made by the oxidation of antimony trioxide in a basic medium. The pigmenting strength of sodium antimonate is less than antimony trioxide. It is recommended for formulations in which deep tone colours are required. Because it contains 62 wt% antimony, somewhat higher concentrations are needed to make it as effective as antimony trioxide which has 83 wt % antimony.

Uses
Sodium antimonate is antimony synergist of commercial importance, has an antimony content of 61–63 wt % and a bulk density of 39.4–46.4 kg/m3. It is made by oxidizing antimony trioxide using sodium nitrate and caustic. It is a white powder and has a pH of around 9–11 when dissolved in water. Sodium antimonate contains less antimony than either antimony trioxide or pentoxide and is thus less effective. However, its unique pH and low refractive index makes the antimonate the most desirable synergist for polymers that hydrolyze when processed with acidic additives or in polymers for which deep color tones are specified.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 15593-75-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,5,9 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15593-75:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*5)+(4*9)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*5)=126
126 % 10 = 6
So 15593-75-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
