1562-85-2 Usage
Chemical Properties
black powder
Uses
Different sources of media describe the Uses of 1562-85-2 differently. You can refer to the following data:
1. As a dye; in alkali carbonate solution as a reagent for lead with which it forms a deep violet color.
2. Gallocyanine is used as an intermediate in chemical research. It is a small molecule dye that also inhibits DKK1 of the Wnt pathway.
Preparation
excessive amounts of ?N,N-dimethyl-4-nitrosobenzenamine and??3,4,5-Trihydroxybenzoic acid in methanol reaction (incomplete reaction in ethanol).
General Description
Gallocyanine belongs to the oxazine class of dyes. It is synthesised from methanol solution of gallic acid in the presence of excess iodine. Gallocyanine is used to stain animal cells, mostly the nucleic acids. It also acts as a chelating agent and is used to determine bioactive compounds and several metal ions.
Properties and Applications
red light navy blue. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol for blue purple. In concentrated sulfuric acid for Daisy blue, dilution after magenta. Dye aqueous solution to join sodium hydroxide as red light purple.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1562-85-2 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,5,6 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1562-85:
(6*1)+(5*5)+(4*6)+(3*2)+(2*8)+(1*5)=82
82 % 10 = 2
So 1562-85-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
