Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 15630-11-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,6,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15630-11:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*6)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*1)+(1*1)=82
82 % 10 = 2
So 15630-11-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and X-ray structural characterization of a bidendate phosphine (dppe) palladium(II) complex and its application in Stille and Suzuki cross-coupling reactions

Naghipour, Ali,Ghorbani-Choghamarani, Arash,Babaee, Heshmatollah,Notash, Behrouz

, p. 998 - 1003 (2016)

The synthesis, characterization, crystal structure and catalyst activity of the bidentate phosphine complex [1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane]palladium(II) bromide, [PdBr2(dppe)], are presented. Treatment of 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane with palladium(II) bromide under mild conditions resulted in the compound in high yield and purity. The characterization of the synthesized compound was performed using spectroscopic methods, such as Fourier transform infrared and NMR, CHN analysis and X-ray crystallography. The structure of the compound was slightly distorted square planar. This compound was found to work as an efficient catalyst for both Stille and Suzuki cross-coupling reactions of various aryl halides with triphenyltin chloride and/or phenylboronic acid. Also, the catalyst could be recovered and reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. Copyright

Reaction of (Me3SiNSN)2S with palladium complexes; crystal structures of 2 and

Kelly, Paul F.,Slawin, Alexandra M. Z.,Soriano-Rama, Antonio

, p. 53 - 60 (2007/10/03)

Reaction of Me3SiNSNSNSNSiMe3 with 2 resulted in a mixture of and 2; in addition to the analogous bromo species, reaction with 2 also generated 2.The crystal structure of , only the second full characterization of a complex of (1-), confirmed the presence of two distinct S-N bond lengths (1.49 and 1.6 Angstroem), while the (15)N NMR spectrum of partially (15)N-labelled confirms the absence of protonation on the S-N ligand.Potential mechanisms for these reactions are discussed.
