Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1564-49-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,5,6 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1564-49:
(6*1)+(5*5)+(4*6)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*9)=84
84 % 10 = 4
So 1564-49-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
