Usage

General Description

PTH (1-31) (HUMAN) is a synthetic peptide representing the N-terminal 31 amino acids of human parathyroid hormone (PTH). It is a potent regulator of calcium and phosphate homeostasis in the body, primarily by stimulating the release of calcium from bone and increasing the reabsorption of calcium in the kidneys, while also decreasing phosphate reabsorption in the kidneys.
