Starting with (R)-1,2-epoxyalkanes, (S)-5-alkyl(or -alkyloxy)-2-pyrimidines and (S)-5-(3-fluoroalkyl)-2-(4-alkyloxyphenyl)pyrimidines were synthesized and shown to be good chiral dopants for achieving fast response of ferroelectri
