The structure of cis-trans-(bipyridine-N,N')dicarbonyl(triphenyl phosphite-P)manganese(I) hexafluorophosphate, PF6, consists of discrete complex cations and PF6- anions linked by several weak C-H...O and C-H...F interactions.The cation is a very distorted octahedral manganese-dicarbonyl fragment having cis-trans stereochemistry and bearing triphenylphosphite, bipyridine and phosphazenylphosphine ligands.Analysis of the structure of the complex reveals that the coordination of the phosphazenylphosphine ligand to the cationic manganese-carbonyl fragment induces only minor changes in the phosphazene ring, affecting only the P5-P3 bond length.
