4-Anilino-5-mercapto-3-substituted-1,2,4-triazoles (1) on reaction with ω-bromoacetophenones (2) give 4-anilino-5-phenacylmercapto-3-thiophenoxymethyl-1,2,4-triazoles (3) which are brominated and cyclized to get the title compounds 6-benzoyl-6-substituted-phenoxy/thiophenoxy-3-phenoxy/thiophenoxymethyl-5-phenyl-s-triazolothiadiazolidines (5).
