The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer diseases, which comprises: a methyl 2-(2-naphthoylimino-4-oxothiazolidin-5-ylidene)acetate derivative compound represented by a chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; a manufacturing method of the compound; and the compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof as active ingredients. The methyl 2-(2-naphthoylimino-4-oxothiazolidin-5-ylidene)acetate derivative compound of the present invention can be effectively used in preventing or treating cancer diseases by controlling apoptosis, proliferation, and transfer of cancer cells.
