163795-75-3 Usage
Uses
SYBR? Green I nucleic acid gel stain has been used for real-time PCR quantification and flow cytometry.
Definition
ChEBI: SYBR Green I is a cationic unsymmetrical cyanine dye used as a nucleic acid stain in molecular biology. SYBR Green I binds to double-stranded DNA.
General Description
SYBR? Green I is an asymmetrical cyanine dye, which is used to detect nucleic acids. It consists of a N-alkylated benzothiazolium or benzoxazolium ring system, that is joined by a monomethine bridge to a pyridinium or quinolinium ring system. SYBR Green I binds to the minor groove of dsDNA and is excited at a wavelength of 480 nm. It has a peak fluorescence emission of 520 nm.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 163795-75-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,6,3,7,9 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 163795-75:
(8*1)+(7*6)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*9)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*5)=173
173 % 10 = 3
So 163795-75-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
