Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 164172-67-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number,starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,6,4,1,7 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 164172-67:
(8*1)+(7*6)+(6*4)+(5*1)+(4*7)+(3*2)+(2*6)+(1*7)=132
132 % 10 = 2
So 164172-67-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

X-ray structural determination of a bulky phosphine complex: Chloro {tris(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine} gold(I), {AuC1[P(C9H11O3)3]}

Alyea, Elmer C.,Ferguson, George,Kannan, Shanmugaperumal

, p. 2211 - 2213 (2000)

The title compound, {AuC1[P(C9H11O3)3]}, has three fold symmetry in the solid state. The Au-C1 and Au-P bond lengths are 2.294 and 2.255 ?, respectively, and the Au atom has nearly linear coordination geometry, with P-Au-C1 176.03(9)°. The extreme bulkiness of the phosphine ligand is shown by the mean cone angle of 188° (based on O atoms defining the cone), though the cone angle is considerably smaller than 214° for trimesitylphosphine in the known analogous complex. The shorter Au-P bond distance than for Ag-P (2.379(1) ?) in the corresponding known silver chloride complex of tris(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine tentatively supports an earlier conclusion that gold is smaller than silver.

Synthesis of L-Au(I)-CF2H Complexes and Their Application as Transmetalation Shuttles to the Difluoromethylation of Aryl Iodides

García-Domínguez, Patricia

, p. 2923 - 2928 (2021/09/07)

We describe herein two alternative protocols to efficiently prepare difluoromethylgold(I) complexes bearing ancillary ligands with different electronic and steric properties. LAu-OX (X = H andt-Bu) species, formed in the presence of base, have been identified as intermediate complexes involved in these transformations. The application of these compounds as “CF2H transmetalation shuttles” from gold to palladium has been demonstrated in a Pd-catalyzed difluoromethylation reaction of aryl iodides, in which the Au-to-Pd transfer of “CF2H” is feasible under stoichiometric conditions. These findings will pave the way for catalytic manifolds in gold chemistry.

Structural, Far-infrared and 31P Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Studies of Two-co-ordinate Complexes of Tris(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine with Gold(I) Halides

Baker, Lisa-Jane,Bott, Raymond C.,Bowmaker, Graham A.,Healy, Peter C.,Skelton, Brian W.,et al.

, p. 1341 - 1348 (2007/10/02)

The complexes were prepared by reaction of tmpp with or (1-).The crystalline compounds are isomorphous with the corresponding complexes of Cu and Ag, with Au-P
